Pharmaceutical Treatment Options for Myasthenia Gravis Article

Pharmaceutical Treatment Options for Myasthenia Gravis - Article Example The neuromuscular intersection (NMJ) has the differentiation of being the main site of a characterized autoantibody interceded neurological sickness, to be specific myasthenia gravis (MG), which is because of autoantibodies to the acetylcholine receptor (AChR) (Vincent, 2002). Different focuses at the NMJ incorporate muscle explicit kinase (MuSK) in MG patients without AChR antibodies. About 20% of MG patients with summed up sickness in Europe, North America and Japan don't have AChR antibodies. These purported 'seronegative' MG patients can be partitioned into two gatherings: those with antibodies to MuSK and those without [AChR/MuSK seronegative MG (SN-MG) (Hoch etal, 2001). In ordinary neuromuscular transmission depolarization of the presynaptic nerve terminal delivers a deluge of calcium through voltage-gated calcium channels. Vesicles containing acetylcholine (ACh) at that point meld with the presynaptic nerve terminal layer. After discharge, ACh cooperates with the acetylcholine receptor (AChR) on the muscle endplate surface. This opens the AChR channel, bringing about a flood of cations, to a great extent sodium. Depolarization of the muscle surface delivers an excitatory endplate potential, and if the endplate potential is of adequate abundancy, muscle surface voltage-gated sodium channels are opened. This produces an activity potential that in the long run outcomes in excitation-compression coupling and muscle development. ACh ties momentarily to its receptor and afterward either diffuses from the neuromuscular intersection or is hydrolyzed by acetylcholinesterase (AChE), giving a self-restricted reaction to nerve depolarization. In MG, antibodies are coordinated against the acetylcholine receptors (AChR antibodies). AChR antibodies meddle with neuromuscular transmission through one of three instruments First, some predicament to the AChR cholinergic restricting site, obstructing the official of ACh. Second, some AChR antibodies cross-connect muscle surface AChRs, expanding their pace of disguise into muscle and diminishing the quantities of accessible AChRs. Third, and maybe in particular, AChR antibodies that quandary supplement bring about annihilation of the muscle endplate, and an all the more enduring loss of AChRs. Medications like acetylcholinestrase inhibitors nhibits AChE, expanding the measure of ACh accessible to cooperate with accessible AChRs, along these lines drawing out the activity of Ach, and permitting muscle constriction. Pharmacological treatment Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors are the primary pharmacological decision in the treatment of MG. Acetylcholinesterase is an acetylcholine-hydrolyzing chemical which ties the flooding acetylcholine in the neuromuscular intersection, keeping the intersection clean from unreasonable transmitter. Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors tie to the acetylcholinesterase, restraining its activity. Pyridostigmine is a later long-acting reversible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors increment the measure of accessible acetylcholine in the neuromuscular intersection. This prompts upgraded official of acetylcholine to the decreased number of AChRs on the myasthenic muscle cell film, causing contractility improvement (Millard and Broom field, 1995) At the point when extra pharmacological tre

Dr. Heideggers Experiment is about a specialist who professes to have water from the wellspring of youth. He then he welcomes his companions over and conducts an examination on them. He utilizes the water from the wellspring of youth and makes them youthful once more, however they break the jar holding the water and it wears off. Nathaniel Hawthorne is an American author and essayist. He is known for his symbolic stories and incredible utilization of artistic gadgets. In Dr. Heideggers Experiment, Hawthorne utilizes imagery, purposeful anecdote and portrayal to depict how individuals dont gain from their missteps. Hawthorne utilizes the portrayal of Dr. Heidegger to depict how individuals dont gain from their mix-ups. Directly before Dr. Heidegger lets his companions drink the water from the wellspring of youth he says, Before you drink, my decent old companions, said he, it would be well that, with a mind-blowing experience to guide you, you should draw up a couple of general standards for your direction, in taking a break through the hazards of youth. Think what a wrongdoing and disgrace it would be, if, with your exceptional preferences, you ought not become examples of ethicalness and intelligence to all the youngsters of the age!' (Holt 231). Dr. Heidegger is portrayed as uninterested in the how developing youthful again occurs, or how the water from the wellspring functions. It is additionally uncovered that Dr. Heidegger is savvy, and is looking for answers about people groups conduct and the indiscretion of man. Dr. Heidegger has the goal of testing whether whenever given the chance, w ill individuals alter their way of living and gain from their missteps. After the jar holding the water from the wellspring breaks, Dr. Heidegger says, Yes, companions, ye are old once more, said Dr. Heidegger, and lo! the Water of Youth is totally pampered on the ground. WellI wail over it not; for if the wellspring spouted at my very doorstep, I would not go as far as wash my lips in itno, however its incoherence were for a considerable length of time rather than minutes. Such is the exercise ye have shown me!' (235). It is uncovered that Dr. Heidegger is interested about whether one will gain from his/her missteps of the past. Dr. Heidegger is described as one who esteems age and experience which he comprehends gives him shrewdness. He recalls the mix-ups he made previously and gains from it. Hawthorne composed Dr. Heideggers Experiment as purposeful anecdote, where the four companions partaking in the examination represent slip-ups and imperfections which they dont change, to portray how individuals dont gain from their mix-ups. As Hawthorne presents the characters toward the start of the short story he composes, Mr. Medbourne, in the force of his age, had been a prosperous vendor, yet had lost his everything by a distracted hypothesis, and was presently minimal superior to a homeless person (228). Mr. Medbourne represents voracity. He lost lucrative terrible business choices previously. After the four companions changed into their more youthful selves, Hawthorne composes, Mr. Medbourne was engaged with a computation of dollars and pennies, with which was abnormally mixed an undertaking for providing the East Indies with ice, by bridling a group of whales to the polar ice shelves (233). Mr. Medbourne made the equivalent absurd covetous undertakings again when he changed. He has not gained from his errors. As Hawthorne presents the characters toward the start of the short story he composes, Colonel Killigrew had squandered his greatest years, and his wellbeing and substance, in the quest for corrupt delights, which had brought forth a brood of agonies, for example, the gout, and jumpers different torments of soul and body (228). He additionally portrays Colonel Killgrew later in the story, Colonel Killigrews praises were not constantly estimated by calm truth (232). Colonel Killigrew represents deceptive nature and sin. He was a liar and sought after wicked delights, for example, drinking and yearning. After the four companions changed into their more youthful selves, Hawthorne composes, Colonel Killigrew this time had been trolling forward a jaunty jug tune, and ringing his glass in orchestra with the melody, while his eyes meandered toward the curvaceous figure of the Widow Wycherly (233). Colonel Killigrew is by and by craving and drinking too mu ch when he changed. He is rehashing the slip-ups he made before. As Hawthorne presents the characters toward the start of the short story he composes, Mr. Gascoigne was a destroyed lawmaker, a man of shrewdness distinction, or if nothing else had been so till time had covered him from the information on the current age, and made him cloud rather than scandalous (228). Mr. Gascoigne represents stagnation. He flopped as legislator because of the absence of new thoughts. After the four companions changed into their more youthful selves, Hawthorne composes, Mr. Gascoignes mind appeared to run on political themes, yet in the case of identifying with the past, present, or future, couldn't without much of a stretch be resolved, since similar thoughts and expressions have been stylish these fifty years (233). His psyche ran on similar thoughts and points similarly as he did before. He didnt gain from his errors and change. As Hawthorne presents the characters toward the start of the short s tory he composes, As for the Widow Wycherly, convention discloses to us that she was an extraordinary marvel in her day; at the same time, for quite a while past, she had lived in profound detachment, by virtue of certain outrageous stories which had preferential the upper class of the town against her (228). Widow Wycherly represents vanity and indiscrimination. She was exceptionally wonderful and did numerous outrageous things which constrained her to remain in isolation. After the four companions changed into their more youthful selves, Hawthorne composes, As for the Widow Wycherly, she remained under the watchful eye of the mirror courtesying and giggling to her own picture, and welcome it as the companion whom she cherished better than all the world close to. She push her face near the glass, to see whether some since a long time ago recollected wrinkle or crows foot had for sure evaporated. She inspected whether the snow had so completely liquefied from her hair that the respe cted top could be securely tossed aside (233). Hawthorne additionally composes, Doctor, you dear old soul, cried she, gets up and hit the dance floor with me!' (234). Widow Wycherly is rehashing her fixation on looks and vanity. She is likewise not changing her old wanton ways. She doesnt gain from her slip-ups. While presenting the characters, Hawthorne additionally composes, It is a situation worth referencing that every one of these three old honorable men, Mr. Medbourne, Colonel Killigrew, and Mr. Gascoigne, were early admirers of the Widow Wycherly, and had once been about to start cutting every others throats for the good of she (228). The three men used to battle about Wycherly. This contention between the characters represents loathe. After the change, Hawthorne likewise composes, Dance with me, Clara! cried Colonel Killigrew. No, no, I will be her accomplice! yelled Mr. Gascoigne. She guaranteed me her hand, fifty years back! shouted Mr. Medbourne. They all accumulated roun d her. One got both her hands in his energetic handle another tossed his arm about her waistthe third covered his hand among the polished twists that bunched underneath the widows top. Becoming flushed, gasping, battling, reprimanding, giggling, her warm breath fanning every one of their appearances by turns, she endeavored to withdraw herself, yet still stayed in their triple grasp (234). Them four rehashed what occurred previously and the men began battling once again Wycherly once more. They all again didnt gain from their errors. Hawthorne utilizes imagery of things having a place with Dr. Heidegger to portray how individuals dont gain from their slip-ups. While depicting Dr. Heideggers study, it says, Between two of the shelves hung a mirror, introducing its high and dusty plate inside a discolored overlaid outline. Among numerous great stories related of this mirror, it was mythical that the spirits of the considerable number of specialists perished patients stayed inside its skirt, and would gaze him in the face at whatever point he looked thitherward (229). The mirror represents Dr. Heideggers disappointments as a specialist. The mirror helps him to remember those disappointments and he gains from them. After the change and when they are battling about Wycherly, it says, Never was there a lovelier image of young rivalship, with charming magnificence as the prize. However by some weird duplicity, claiming to the dimness of the chamber, and the antique dresses which they despite everything wore, the tall mi rror is said to have mirrored the figures of three, old, dark, wilted fantastic sires, absurdly battling for the thin offensiveness of a withered excellent dam (234). The mirror uncovers that they are committing indistinguishable errors from they did before and how silly they are. The mirror represents their reiteration of those missteps. At the point when initially presenting the analysis Dr Hiedegger says, This rose, said Dr. Heidegger, with a moan, this equivalent shriveled and disintegrating bloom, bloomed five and fifty years back. It was given me by Sylvia Ward, whose representation hangs there; and I intended to wear it in my chest at our wedding. Five and fifty years it has been prized between the leaves of this old volume. Presently, would you regard it conceivable that this rose of 50 years would ever sprout again?' (230). Dr. Heidegger kept this rose as a token of his missteps in his relationship with his dead spouse. It represents Dr. Heideggers learned exercises of the past. Additionally in the depiction of Dr. Heideggers study, it says, In the obscurest corner of the room stood a tall and limited oaken storeroom, with its entryway unlatched, inside which suspiciously seemed a skeleton (229).The skeleton represents people groups refusal to gain from their missteps and thus being inside dead. The skeleton being kept in the storage room

An Islamic Micro Finance Bank To Help Enterprises - Free Essay Example

The Conventional Micro-Finance programs have shown little interest in religious and cultural sensitivities ,also excludes the poorest of the poor and are inadequate to full-fill the needs of 37.4 % poor Muslims of the world. A recent report by CGAP suggests that a large proportion of poor muslims rejects all forms of loans, including Grameen style Microloans on religious grounds, even many Government initiatives have failed because of this reason. Islamic Finance industry is an industry with rapid growth but has shown little interest in Micro-Finance and poverty alleviation aiming for shariah compliance inform and not in spirit. There are many Islamic MF programs currently operational in different parts of the world, but they are regional and country based programs, this research paper will focus on the development of an International Micro-Finance Bank (not Program) with deepest local penetration. Interest based loans may lead prospective entrepreneurs to refrain from pursuing activities as cost of failure is too high. Islamic Economics goals of equality, fairness, social solidarity through risk sharing, property rights, and sanctity of contracts; entrepreneurship, partnership, income generation through productive activity for poverty alleviation are completely in sync with basic principles of any Micro-Finance program. Aim and objectives: The purpose of my research is developing a sustainable and universal business model of an ideal full-fledged à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“Islamic Micro-Finance Bankà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬? by examining working technique and mode of operation of Islamic Banks(and of Banks working on No Interest principle) and of Micro-Finance programs ( both Islamic and Non-Islamic) and merging the working principles of both to come with a business model of a Universal World-Wide Micro-Finance Bank strictly following and working on principles of Islamic Finance. An Islamic Micro-Finance Bank will provide thousands of entrepreneurial poorà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s access to Micro-Finance- especially those who fear breaching their religious beliefs. Islamic Micro-Finance Bank will seek to finance business activities which will lead to the economic empowerment of the poor, rather than merely lending to the poor for consumption. Literature review: Islamic Finance : Islamic Finance refers to a system of Banking that is Consistent with Islamic law(sharia) principles. This system reflects Islamà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s teachings on wealth distribution, social and economic justice. The basic principles and practices of Islamic Finance date back to the early part of the seventh century. (Islamic Finance : A Euromoney Publication, 1997). Prohibition of Riba(interest). Risk Sharing. Social Mission. Prohibition of Speculative Behaviour. Sanctity of Contracts. Shariah- approved activities. Islamic Financing Techniques: Islamic financial institutions have developed several financing techniques that are applicable according to the nature of the commodity or business and finance period of the project. The principal financing techniques, murabaha, mudaraba, musharaka, and ijarah, are described briefly below: The first technique, murabaha, is the most popular and widely used Islamic financing instrument. Murabaha involves the resale of a commodity after the lender adds a specific profit margin (often referred to as the à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‹Å"mark-upà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢), which is paid by the borrower who agrees to buy that commodity. Usually, repayment is made in instalments to the financier, who pays the price to the original supplier of the commodity. This type of finance is commonly used for financing assets or working capital inputs, such as raw materials, machinery or equipment. For murabaha to be Sharià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ah-compliant the financier must own (or procure) the commodity first and then resell it, the commodity should be a tangible one, and the buyer must know and then agree to the purchase and resale prices. Under mudaraba, a second type of contract, two parties are involved à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å" the financier, who provides all the money, and the entrepreneur who uses his or her skill to invest the money in an attractive business venture. The profit from the mudaraba contract is shared by the financier and the entrepreneur according to a pre-determined ratio. Importantly, profit-sharing rates are a percentage of the profit and not a lump sum payment. In the case of a loss, providing it has incurred in the normal process of business and not due to neglect or misconduct by the entrepreneur, the financier loses all his or her money, while the entrepreneur merely loses his or her time and effort. Musharaka, a third financing instrument, means partnership in Arabic and can be understood as an equity participation contract. Both parties provide capital and are involved in the management of the funded venture. Profits are shared between each partner according to the ratio of his or her investment. If the venture suffers a loss, each partner loses according to this same ratio. Neither mudaraba nor musharaka are popular mechanisms in the context of microfinance as the thorough reporting and transparency requirements surrounding the just distribution of any profit or loss can result in substantial operating burdens and costs on small businesses which are generally unaccustomed to formal accounting and reporting. Ijarah, a fourth primary finance instrument, is similar to leasing. Under this arrangement, an entrepreneur short of funds approaches a financier to fund the purchase of a productive asset. The financier may buy the productive asset and rent it out to the entrepreneur. The financier retains ownership of the asset and is responsible for its maintenance. Importantly, and like any other contract, an ijarah contract must fulfil all of the conditions of a valid contract stipulated by the Sharià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢ah. Thus, the contract should be clear, should be by mutual agreement, the responsibilities and benefits of both parties should be clearly detailed and the agreement should be for a known period and price. Islamic Micro-Finance Bank is something very very new and in fact there is only one Islamic Micro-Finance bank currently in the world(Nigeria) and that too was launched recently on 15th of April 2010,recently State Bank of Pakistan has laid down guidelines for the establishment of any Islamic Micro-Finance Bank. My research problem is somewhat related with poverty as a whole and poor muslims around the world will be the main focus of the solution, because solution that is applicable for muslims is certainly available to every individual in the world. First, I will talk about why there is a need of Islamic Micro-Finance and then about the need of a Full-Fledged Islamic Micro-Finance Bank. About 65% of the SMEs (muslim owned) who had never applied for bank loans were uncomfortable with the interest based loan products being extended by banks. While this may not be a conclusive evidence for the extensive demand for Islamic finance products as it is not clear that whether these responden ts need the loans etc, however generally the respondents do highlight the interest (Riba) based banking products as one of the reasons for their reluctance to access bank loans. About 75% of the farmers in Muslim dominated countries who did not take bank loans and 55% of all the farmers expressed their dislike of interest based products and said that they donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã… ¸t want to take the interest bearing bank loans. Although this finding signifies the need for introduction of Islamic Agrifinance Products, however the finding may be somewhat biased as a large number of these farmers also considered lack of collaterals/defects in title deeds and non-cooperation by revenue department as the key hurdles in obtaining banks loans. Nevertheless there is substantial demand for Sharia compliant agri-finance products and if offered most of the farmers would be willing to avail the facility. Conventional microfinance had also been questioned on its overall desired impact since the poorà ¢ â‚ ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢s are subjected to very high interest rate of up to 30%. Some even argued that disbursing credit to the poor to make financial gains out of the same cannot be the aim of the microfinance institutions. Interest charged is rather oppressive for their poor receivers, thus fails to achieve the noble objective of microfinance. According to various studies, a notable number of the recipients were also found to be well above the poor category. Islamic Micro-Finance , on the hand, utilizes Islamic financial Instruments which are based on PLS schemes rather than loan. Conventional microfinance institution focused mainly on women as their client. On the hand, Islamic Micro Finance Institution should not only be focusing on women but must also be extended to the family as a whole. Moreover, Conventional Micro-Finance used group lending as a way to mitigate risk in their operation. Islamic Micro-Finance may also use similar technique, but they can also develop Islamic ethical principles to ensure their clients pay the payment regularly. Now, talking about why there is a need of an Islamic Micro-Finance Bank, well there are many Islamic Micro-Finance operational in different parts of the world run and managed by different organisations like Sanadiq at Jabal-al-Hoss; Muà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢assasat Bayt Al-Mal in Lebanon; Hodeidah program in Yemen. IBBL, SIBL in Bangladesh; Akhuwat in Pakistan; Sahulat , Manara in India. Amana Ikhtiar in Malaysia; BPRS , BMTs in Indonesia. FINCA in Afghanistan. Azaovad Finance in Northern Mali. But my question is that why we cannot have a Global Islamic Micro-Finance Program when is there is such a huge of this, microfinance programs are designed keeping in mind the needs of local people and how to serve them better, but if this is done with an International approach then experiences gained in one region will be very beneficial in addressing the problem of other regions, it will be very helpful in the diversification of risk and also SMEs will be share to share expertise and experiences o f one another and can work to build and ecosystem of mutual co-operation and empowerment. Also the increasing demand for alternative micro credit products by the less privileged members of the society against the conventional banking practices, now requires a whole financial system rather than a program or a bank as individual entities, marriage of two is much required need of the time and a new approach designed on the strict guidelines laid down by Quran for Islamic Finance is recommended, adapting Classical Islamic Contracts to modern Islamic Micro-Finance is easier than for mainstream Islamic Finance. I want to develop a Islamic Micro-finance Bank with muslims as prime focus but only for muslims because What we are commissioning today represents our contribution towards providing an alternative banking for Muslims and non-muslims alike. Poor person is a poor person and this has nothing to do with her/her religion, and poverty can only be alleviated if we consider all poors of the world as one and work global make à ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã…“No povertyà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬? a reality. The number of Islamic Micro-Finance initiatives remains limited, less than 1% of the total global microfinance outreach, there is for a number of reasons increasing in interest in developing microfinance programmes based on Islamic Financing principles. Since, Islamic Microfinance is a new area, because little research has been conducted on its impact, outreach of such programmes has so far been limited. So, research with the aim of developing a new approach to Islamic microfinance is completely justified. Research Methodology and Method(s): My research methodology will be based on a lot research and study of Islamic Finance laws approved by Quran, their practical application in the real world scenario, how they are applied by different Islamic Banks and Micro-finance programs in their working, how differently they are applied in practice, analysis of shortcoming of different Islamic Banks and Micro-Finance programs. Study of how Islamic banks weathered current GFC, what were their advantages and disadvantages. How an Islamic Bank is started( rules and regulations in different countries) and how an Islamic Micro-Finance program works( relative to different regions), establishing a common ground for Islamic Micro-Finance bank, framing rules and policies for an ideal Islamic Micro-Finance Bank. Research and study of banking system in Japan( interest rates are negligible) and of JAK Bank Sweden(work on NO interest principal), how they operate , from where and how they fund themselves, how their modus operandi will sustain in an Islamic Finance environment. Data will be collected basically from internet because much of the work has not been done in the area of Islamic Micro-Finance Bank, interviews and discussion with the experts in field of Islamic Law and Islamic Finance, thorough study of Quran( Islamic laws and Financial laws).Study of books on this topic, discussion and advice from experts on Risk Management and Diversification and how i can apply them in Islamic Finance. Business plan for Sports Tourism Service Website for Ticket Booking

Question: Discuss about the Business plan for Sports Tourism Service: Website for Ticket Booking and Merchandized Accessories. Answer: Market research The market of soccer in Singapore is quite big. The International Champions Cup attracts not only the local visitors, but also the international visitors, especially from the South East Asian countries. In 2014, the sports industry of Singapore had generated about $80 billion, which grew around 7% annually (Stb.gov.sg., 2018). In 2017, it became around $90 billion, which was driven mainly by the football industry. In Singapore, the revenue from nonevent sports market is much greater apart from that in Europe and the USA. The licensed sporting goods and accounts for almost 57% of the revenue while others generate almost 28% (sbr.com.sg, 2015). Singapore has become a sports hub and football and Grand Prix have contributed majorly in this. The lining up of international sports events, including International Champions Cup, aimed to generate about $145 billion in 2016 which helped to boost the tourism market too (stb.gov.sg, 2018). International Champions Cup draws millions of visitors to Singapore every year. Fans of the football clubs start buying their tickets quite early to avoid the rush and high price at the last moment. However, there is only one website till date that offered the option for online ticket booking, that is, StubHub Singapore. TicketPool will provide another platform for online ticket booking as well as accessories with a logo of International Champions Cup for the local as well as global soccer fans. In the first year, the website will provide the opportunity of availing additional discounts for the early purchases of tickets. Research shows that, the football fans in Singapore are quite attracted to the merchandized products of the football clubs (Heng Meng, 2018). Production and supply of these products contribute a substantial amount of revenue in the economy. The supply chain and distribution network also gets benefitted from that. Hence, it is expected that, TicketPool will benefit from selling the merchandized products. There is very less competition for TicketPool in Singapore. Previously, only Stubhub used to sell the tickets for International Champions Cup. Whenever, there is rush and huge demand for tickets, the website crashed. TicketPool will share the pressure of the market demand for the tickets of the tournament. Similar to Stubhub, it will also provide the option of selling extra tickets if the customers want. Apart from that, Stubhub do not sell merchandized products of the clubs online. Hence, TicketPool is providing the opportunity of availing the merchandized products and accessories at a fair price, with local and global delivery option, which is expected to gain popularity among the football fans. The company will focus on earning reputation through high and efficient quality service and product. To launch the business, TicketPool has done market research and applied the segmentation and targeting to enter the market. Segmentation refers to the process of dividing the potential consumer market into different segments, based on certain characteristics (Liu et al., 2018). In case of the potential market for TicketPool, the customers are segmented on the basis of age, income status and their preferences. The age has three categories, 18-30 years, 31-45 years and 46 years and up. The groups are chosen such because, people within these age groups can travel along and can go to watch a football match and also be interested in buying the souvenir products. Secondly, people under income status groups are categorized into the groups of income less than $35000, $35000-$50000, $51000-$75000 and $75000-$1000000. This indicates that, students as well as salaried people are capable of buying the tickets and the products for International Champions Cup. Apart from these, the segmentation wi ll also include location, spending behavior and preferences for the merchandized products. As a part of the targeting strategy, TicketPool will put different pricing of the tickets for different groups. The students will get additional discounts upon providing their student id number and name of the colleges or universities. The payment options are made easier and convenient with all types of card payments, third party payment and net banking payments options. The merchandised products will be priced at a reasonable rate to increase the sales and profit. There will be shipping charge for the products ordered if the price is below a certain amount. Themarketing strategy will be implemented through various advertising channels in the print and digital media and through the search engines. Since, people will be buying the tickets and the accessories from the website and through mobile apps, floating the advertisements through the search engine will be more noticeable and bring more impact. The software team will be responsible for creating an attractive website with user friendly navigation. The quality assurance team will ensure that the products delivered have the best quality attainable at a reasonable price. Customer service team will work on handling the customer calls regarding tickets and diverting the calls and complaints regarding the returns, exchange and refund status to the suppliers. The overall finance will be handled by the finance department. Profitability will increase from lack of competition, reinvestment of profit and quality of products and services delivered. Conclusion The business plan aims to highlight the profitability of a new website in Singapore, TicketPool. The website will be launched to provide the ticket booking service for the International Champions Cup and also to offer various merchandized accessories of the international football clubs. The company has evaluated the market opportunity of less competition in this particular section of the sports tourism industry. Millions of tourists come to Singapore every year to experience the international football tournament. The visitor arrival contributes a significant amount in the revenue of the economy. It is seen that, there is not only high demand for tickets but also for the merchandized products among the local and international visitors. However, there was only one website, StubHub Singapore that delivers the service of ticket booking and selling for the matches. Hence, TicketPool will explore this opportunity of lack of competition in the market and will try to capture the market with discount offers on the tickets and merchandized products at a reasonable price. The customers can buy all the things online and TicketPool will deliver those at their addresses. The football market is huge in Singapore and TicketPool will take that advantage for establishing and growing their business. Income expenditure statements and sales forecast for the next three years are shown in the plan that exhibits that the company has a projected growth of 10%.
